Frequently Asked Questions

Can my tickets be refunded?

No, all sales are final. If you cannot attend a performance and wish to donate your tickets back to the theatre, please call the Box Office in advance of your performance date. We will happily accept the tickets for resale and give you a tax receipt as thanks for your kind donation. If a show has been cancelled or rescheduled, a refund may be issued at the discretion of the management. 

Where is the Younts Center for Performing Arts?

Our venue is located at 315 North Main St. in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. The Younts Center is just 10 minutes away from Greenville!

What are your Box Office Hours?

During the season, our Box Office is open Monday - Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM. (On Fridays, the Box Office closes at 2 PM.)

On performance days, the Box Office will open one and a half hours before curtain.

What time do performances start?

Performances usually begin at 7:30 PM for evening shows and 3:00 PM for matinees. However, please check your ticket and specific production information beforehand for the exact start time, as times fluctuate depending on the type of performance.

Can I purchase tickets online?

Yes! Tickets may be purchased through our website. However, online ticket sales end two hours prior to each performance. To purchase after that time, you must stop by the Box Office on your way to see the show.

 

Are all of your shows family-friendly?

The Younts Center brings a wide variety of performances to the stage. Themes and age appropriateness vary by production. In instances where some content may be inappropriate for children, there will be a disclaimer on our website for that specific production. For more information regarding production content, please contact the Box Office.

Does my child need a ticket?

Yes, each and every patron, no matter how big or small, needs a ticket to enter the theatre.

Is there parking at the Younts Center for Performing Arts? Do I have to pay?

The Younts Center offers free parking to it's patrons. If you arrive in the front traffic circle of the venue, proceed to the back parking lot by driving through the portico to the right of the main entrance and driving around the side of the building. If you are arriving via Fairview Street by way of I-385, the back parking lot can be easily accessed by taking a left off of Fairview Street onto Railroad Street (immediately following crossing the railroad tracks). *Patrons, including those who are handicapped, may be dropped off at the portico for a no-step entryway into the building and theatre.

What is the dress code for the Younts Center?

Dress is generally casual but feel free to dress up fancy if you feel inclined! You certainly won’t be the only one. We recommend bringing a sweater or a jacket as we keep the theater cool for the comfort of all present.

Are discounts available?
While these offers fluctuate on a show-by-show basis, we do typically offer group and senior discounts for most shows. For further information about the special packages that we offer, please contact the Box Office. *These discounts vary per production.

How will l get the tickets I purchased?
You can pick up your ticket orders at the Box Office (immediately inside the theatre) if you chose not to print them yourself.

Can my group, band, or theatre perform at the Younts Center?

The Younts Center does not accept demos, promotional packaging, or requests for our mainstage theatrical season.  If your group would like to rent out space in our facility for a presentation, performance, party or other gathering, please click contact us!
